What do you love most about your job?
I love that each day is something different. Even though we do much of the same things each day presents new clients and projects to work through. And we just have such an awesome team, we are like family and we work hard, play hard and have fun while here!

Tell me about your hobbies. What do you like to do when you are not working?
I love to read when I have time, take my dog on walks, hang out with my daughters and my family, binge watch shows and watch sporting events (especially if it’s my girl playing). I have a college grad, a college student and a middle schooler so we are always doing something fun!

Tell me your favorite story or experience working at Lewis Group.
Mine is more than one experience, I love when we get to do the fun stuff. Friday lunches during tax season with everyone gathered in the front office hanging out and disconnecting from work for a lunch together. The after tax season celebrations, the occasional happy hours and our Christmas party. Being able to connect with the people you spend every day with outside of the office is always my favorite!

How did you start working for Lewis Group?
I was at a Bunco party with one of Chris’s close friends, we got chatting he asked me what I do, I told him, but also said I was looking for a new job as I wasn’t happy where I was. He said my friend is looking for someone and it sounds like you would be a good fit. Give me your contact information. This was around the holidays so after the first of the year, we met, I loved him and Teresa immediately and thank goodness the feeling was mutual. And the rest they say, is history!

Give me a special ability or trait you have that helps you do your job.
Being able to multi-task and communicate. My years in HR are paying off.

What is your office pseudonym or nickname?
Haha, to my face or behind closed doors? I have been called the Office Mom a few times by these young ones

If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I’d probably be a….?
Teacher

If we held an office talent show, I would wow everyone with my….?
Karaoke skills, I can’t sing great, but man I have a good time with it.

Tell me about a fictional character you admire, and why.
Santa Claus – he gets to bring joy to the entire world all in one night. If only we could just spread joy like that all the other 364 days of the year.
